I'm All Shook Up!

I'm all shook up! I just can't take it anymore! It's been a while since I've had Shakeology, and it's AWFUL! My time and money has been focused so much on furnishing my new house (and making sure my bills are covered) that I have put off buying Shakeology for myself. Week after week has gone by, and I still haven't placed my order. Business has been starting to pick up for me, but it's far from steady yet. Plus, there's Christmas and all sorts of other things in which my funds have to go to.

Yet, through all of this, I am reminded of one of my own blog entries from a while back. In it, I explained that when it comes to affordability, you really can't afford NOT to buy Shakeology. I need to take my own advice because without it, my health is really messed up! I need my magic flower! It keeps me looking and feeling young and full of energy. It banishes my food cravings, turns off my appetite, helps me with my weight-loss, keeps me regular, and supercharges my immune system (which is so important at this time of year). Never have I needed it more than now because I have been extremely exhausted; never rested enough. I've also been battling the never-ending cold which RARELY happens when I am on Shakeology. It's like a super shield from sickness (I'm not exaggerating!). It's really is THAT good! You've read my story, right? I've shared it all before!

Thankfully, my cold is nearly gone. Though, it would have only lasted a couple days (if at all) if I had Shakeology in my system. I was fortunate enough (this time) not to have to go to the doctor for it. It's a good thing too, because I can't afford an office visit! So, you know what, this chick is going to have to get her shake back lol! I'm TIRED of feeling tired! I'm tired of my pain level being so high (yeah, it always reduced my aches and pains a LOT!). To feel alive and functional is priceless! Shakeology is worth every penny! One delicious shake a day. SO EASY!

Grace and peace to you, my friends! If you haven't tried Shakeology to see what a difference it can make for you, remember that you CAN buy a sample pack to try before you buy a bag. Also, remember that it's GUARANTEED when you do buy a bag of it! Send it back (even if the bag is empty) if you don't like it and you'll get a refund! The customer service is EXCELLENT and there's no hassle (I can vouch for this!). You have nothing to lose! Oh, and today is the last day to buy a challenge pack (workout program plus Shakeology) and get $20 off a future purchase; plus, Team Beachbody donates $20 to Feeding America. You also only have until December 2nd to capitalize on the Black Friday deals! Click on any of my links for more details! Be infused! God bless you!

"Leftover" Recipes

Thanksgiving is over and you know what that means?! No, I'm not talking about Black Friday (although, Team Beachbody still has their amazing Black Friday deal going on for a few more days yet!). I'm talking about Thanksgiving leftovers!!

So, what are you going to do with all that turkey that didn't get eaten? Well, there are lots of ways to reinvent Thanksgiving with some awesome "leftover" recipes! Does turkey soup sound good? It sure looks good! Though, soup or no soup, I LOVE turkey so I don't mind eating it for a good long while! ;) Turkey is full of protein so it's a win-win anyways!

Grace and peace to you, my friends! I hope you're having a great weekend! Be infused! God bless you!

What Are YOU Thankful For?

I'm sitting here watching "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days" on TV (love this movie lol) and just relaxing after a wonderful Thanksgiving day with my family. Food, fellowship, and football. It doesn't get any better than that!

So, now it's time for my daily blog, but I've got nothin' lol. Who wants to use their brains or do much of anything after a day like today, right? Though, there are people that are probably out at the stores getting ready to work off those Thanksgiving calories for good deals! So, I guess for this q & a Thursday, I have a question to ask rather than answer. What are you all doing tonight? Did you get enough to eat? Or, were you the ones feeding people. I know at least a couple that were out there feeding some less fortunate people (mad props to you!). Are you getting ready to go shopping now?

Though, the main question I have for you is "what are you thankful for?" I have a long list of blessings that I am thankful for! Every day this month, I have been posting my thanks on Facebook and have been enjoying reflecting on everything God has blessed me with! I have an AMAZING family, some REALLY great friends, my kids, a new house, a job that I love, and so much more! God takes care of us and we have so much!

Grace and peace to you, my friends! I would be REALLY grateful for your comments! :) Let me know how you're doing! I hope everyone is having a blessed and safe holiday!! Be infused! God bless you!

Eating Turkey Without Feeling Like One

In just two days, most of us will be gathering around the table for our Thanksgiving meal with our family. That likely means turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, pumpkin pie, and lots of other foods. With so much around the table, how are you supposed to enjoy it all without feeling like you're just as stuffed as the turkey itself?

First of all, don't feel like you have to pile your plate high and try everything! If you DO want to sample most of it, do just that: take SAMPLE sizes. A little bit of this and that is fine; or just focus on your favorites. Eat leisurely and enjoy! Watch some football while you space out your eating a little bit.

Secondly, don't laze around! Keep moving a little bit. Play with the kids in your family, walk around/chat with someone, or help clean up the kitchen. Find something to do that's active as well as stimulating. Enjoy your time with family and make some memories while you're at it!

Lastly, don't feel bad for enjoying any of it! Whether you're dieting or not, it's great to have a temporary break and not worry about "forbidden" foods. Some of our favorites only come once a year, so allow yourself the pleasure of eating it; but don't overdo it!

Grace and peace to you, my friends! I hope you enjoy this wonderful week! We all have a lot to be thankful for! I know I do! Be infused! God bless you!

Get Your Serve On!

Years ago, I seen a video in church that has always reminded me to look beyond the surface and empathize with people more. It was a really great video called "get service". Yesterday, our church happened to play that same video in connection with the series about learning how to serve others. The message is just as refreshing now as it was then!

Please take the time to watch this video! You'll be glad you did! It's a great reminder for this time of year (as well as year round). It's all too easy to get caught up in ourselves and think about what "we" need all the time. We forget that there are hurting people all around us and that maybe the understanding and kind gestures that we have to offer could make a difference in others' lives.

Grace and peace to you, my friends! I hope you all have a great week as you prepare to gather with your families and give thanks for your many blessings! Continue striving to be a blessing to others as well! If we all learn to serve instead of just expecting to BE served, this world will be a much better place! So, get your serve on!! Be infused! God bless you!

Consider the House "Warmed"!

Tonight's blog is going to be short. I'm pretty tired from such an eventful day lol. But, it's a very good kind of tired because I had my house warming party today and I think I can definitely say that my house has been "warmed"; with laughter, love, friendship, and the beginning of many memories!

There were a lot of special people that didn't make it, but I am very thankful for the ones who took the time for me and made an appearance. This is only the first of many gatherings and I look forward to having people over more often! :)

I don't know what else to add other than the fact that simple things like this are truly the best things in life! Gathering together to talk, laugh, share stories, and show one's love and support is something that is such a priceless treasure! My heart has been warmed more than anything!

To the wonderful people in my life, I dedicate these verses:

A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for a time of adversity. - Proverbs 17:17

One who has unreliable friends soon comes to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother. - Proverbs 18:24

As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another - Proverbs 27:17

Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor. If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up. - Ecclesiastes 4:9-10

Do not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another--and all the more as you see the Day approaching. - Hebrews 10:25

I am so BLESSED to have several friends that are like family to me!! They love and encourage me, and "meeting together" is always a joy (and we definitely won't stop meeting up lol). I am thankful for the ones that have helped pick me up and support me when I've fallen or been knocked down. I definitely pity those that DON'T have good friends like mine and have to manage things alone!

Grace and peace to you, my friends! I'm glad that I don't have to go it alone in life! I have God, my kids, my family, and my friends! I hope you have those things too! You definitely have God if nothing else (and you have me - I'm here!). Be infused! God bless you!

The BEST Pumpkin Pie Drink Out There!

Seasonal flavors. Gotta love 'em!! At this time of year, the flavor is usually pumpkin. Lattes, pies, and all sorts of foods and beverages are getting a dose of pumpkin thrown into it. So, why not your Shakeology?! :) Yep, you can customize your Shakeology into a favorite Fall flavor! How does pumpkin pie Shakeology sound?! You can get your pumpkin fix PLUS tons of great nutrition! MUCH healthier and more satisfying than a latte!!
Pumpkin Pie Shakeology

1 scoop vanilla Shakeology
3/4 c. unsweetened vanilla almond milk
1/2 c. canned pumpkin puree
1 Tbsp. coarsely chopped raw pecans
1 tsp. maple syrup (or raw honey)
1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice

Add all ingredients in a blender with some ice. If you want a thicker shake, add more ice. Tweak the recipe as needed (depending on what you like). For more recipes, visit my Shakeology site!

Grace and peace to you, my friends! I hope you're having a great weekend! Be infused! God bless you!

Orange Pineapple Ambrosia

Thanksgiving is less than a week away! Do you know what you're making for your family dinner? Some of us (like me) are in charge of the turkey. For everyone else, they have to think of something to bring. If you need something quick, try this! It's actually pretty healthy too! LOTS of fruit and you can serve it with some light cool whip. Easy peasey!!

Grace and peace to you, my friends! Sorry I didn't get a blog done yesterday! Been super busy! I don't miss very often (drives me crazy if I do!). Have a great weekend!! Be infused! God bless you!

If you have a sit down job, you know that sometimes it can get a little tiring sitting at a desk all day. It's important to try to move and stretch. In this video, you'll find some simple stretches that you can do to keep you from feeling too stiff and tired. Even small little stretch workouts are important workouts! Simple, effective, and doesn't take long (you won't even break a sweat!). It's the little things that count for a lot!

Good Thanksgiving Foods

Thanksgiving is coming up. That means family get-togethers and lots of food! That also means the temptation to overeat and gain some extra pounds. No one wants that.

According to this article, our Thanksgiving foods aren't all that bad. Many of our Thanksgiving favorites are pretty good for us! The main course, turkey, is almost always a good choice. I say "almost" because baking your turkey is always a lower calorie option rather than deep frying your turkey. Either way, though, you're going to be getting a lot of nutrients and protein. Protein is always good! :)

Potatoes aren't always a bad thing either. You just have to be careful not to have TOO much butter and extras with it. Limit your portions and you'll be fine. The same thing with almost any other dish. Pumpkin pie, for example, has a lot of good nutrition in it too, but take it easy on the Cool Whip.

Grace and peace to you, my friends! Enjoy your Thanksgiving celebrations! It truly is a blessing to be able to reflect on all you have in the presence of your family while getting to enjoy an abundance of food. There are so many that don't even have a fraction of it! Be infused! God bless you!

He Makes You Able

There are a lot of times where we get overwhelmed or feel like we just don't have what it takes to make it. Persevering isn't the easiest thing to do. But, for every time we say, "I don't think I'm able to do it," we should be saying, "but HE can! HE is able!"

That's what this song means to me. It's is so refreshing, assuring, and empowering. I feel so encouraged and strengthened when I hear this song and sing it to the Lord. It's just one of those songs where you listen to the words and remember how powerful and victorious God is; and that through Him, you can be too!

Grace and peace to you, my friends! No matter what you're going through, you'll be able to get through it because HE is able to infuse you with the strength to do it! Just ask Him! Be infused! God

bless you!

Becoming Fearless

Halloween and all the spooky stuff is supposed to be over. However, creepiness doesn't limit itself to a holiday. Frightful happenings of all kinds happen year round! So, I really shouldn't be surprised at experiencing it in my own house.

It's bound to happen. There are always going to be strange noises and odd things that USUALLY have an explanation; and you just have to get used to it (one of them being the somewhat annoying noises of my water heater). I've become more and more comfortable with my new house and have been adjusting to lots of various things. It is becoming easier to recognize when something isn't typical for my household. That's where the subject of this blog comes in.

Picture this: I'm sitting in the family room with my laptop. I'm journaling and pretty engrossed in it. I start hearing faint noises. It sounds like it's coming from the boxes of DVDs in the corner of the room. I even think I see the antique family rocking chair slightly move. I reason that I'm probably imagining things and that it's nothing. Yet, I keep hearing sounds as if something were lightly scratching the cardboard boxes. I stand up and venture towards the boxes at a safe distance. I don't know whether to be scared or to laugh at myself because I feel like a chick in a horror flick who is about ready to stupidly say, "Hello? Who's there?" I remember how ridiculous that is because everyone knows darn well that there's nothing there; and if there is, you just sealed your fate by asking lol. So, I stand there mumbling and reasoning to myself as to what the noises might be and I just wait, listen, and watch to see if anything happens. All the while, I am once again thinking that the dead silence is going to suddenly be followed by a big "GOTCHA" moment (complete with the sudden surge of scary music). I further tempt fate by slowly walking towards the boxes and standing on the couch to see if I could peer down and see anything.

Despite the weird feeling you get in your stomach when you are that nervous, I was actually fairly calm. I don't know if it was the feeling of "don't panic like some dumb girl in a movie or you'll never survive IF there really is something to be afraid of" or if I was just laughing at myself on some level because I knew I'd discover the lame source of the noises and feel like a dummy. All I know is that after I thought it through, I decided not to worry. I realized my options were pretty simple. I could either investigate the boxes and run the risk of finding a mouse or something creepy as the source of the noises (or nothing at all). Or, I could call Dad and have him come and do it (which I decided against because it was late at night; not to mention stupid). Ugh, this was one of those times where I REALLY wished I wasn't the head of the house and that there was a man around!!

At that point, I realized something. I COULD call on my father; my heavenly Father! In fact, the whole time I had everything running through my head, He was nudging me to just call upon His Name. It's funny how almost always, my first reaction is to call for my Dad. It's because my Dad has always been there to keep me safe, reassure me, and chase away my fears. His example is a reflection of what God does for me; and God is even bigger and mightier! So, calling on my Father in heaven should be my FIRST reaction.

It was like that moment that occurs in the movie where you find the secret weapon to defeat the bad guy. Standing on that couch, I raised my hand in declaration of authority in Christ; commanding out loud that whatever it was, it was under the blood and that it had no power in my home or over me. Whether a mouse or evil spirit, I entrusted it into God's hands and that everything would be fine. I picked up my laptop and took it to my room and then took my shower and went about my business as normal.

I don't know what that whole thing was about (and I have found not traces of vermin anywhere). Maybe it was just the devil messing with me and trying to stir up fear and emotions since I was already in a vulnerable state due to the journaling I was doing. All I know is that I made a choice not to be ruled by fear and to claim the power of Jesus. God promises us in His Word that He is always with us and never leaves us. There's no need to fear, so I decided I was going to believe in it with all my heart and cast any doubts aside. Faith is a powerful thing! The more you believe, the more fearless you become! It's empowering!

Grace and peace to you, my friends! I hope this experience encourages you to stand up and be courageous; remembering the authority that you have in Christ. No matter how big or small it is, let NOTHING intimidate or scare you. God is sovereign over all and He INFUSES His children with His mighty power to overcome everything! Be infused!!! God bless you!

Quality Fuel

I always like to joke that Shakeology has everything in it but the kitchen sink (which is probably good because no one needs to digest a sink!). So, what exactly IS in Shakeology anyways? You know that it has protein, nutrients, pro-biotics, and anti-oxidants, but what are the ingredients and where do they come from? In this video, you'll see some of what goes into Shakeology. It's quality stuff; the stuff that your body needs and craves!

Grace and peace to you, my friends! I hope that the video inspires you to put quality fuel into your body so that you can be and feel your best! Be infused! God bless you!

Low-Fat Cheesy Pasta Alfredo!

I love pasta. I love cheese. These things probably don't love me, though! I don't think they really love anyone. It's hard to eat these things without it showing up as extra pounds later! So, it's always nice when you can find a recipe that takes some of the guilt out of eating it!

This recipe is something that is on my list to try! I am hoping that it will taste as good as it looks! It sure does look appealing to me!!

Grace and peace to you, my friends! I hope you'll have a safe and blessed weekend! Be infused! God bless you!

How Do You Break a Plateau?

When it comes to losing weight, we all hit that dreaded point where we plateau. We stay stagnant for a while and don't seem to be making any progress. Why is that? How can you break that plateau and start losing again?

In this article, you can read more about breaking plateaus. A few of the tips include taking some periods of rest as well as varying your exercise routine. Our bodies get wise to the patterns we start forming and it adapts accordingly. Therefore, it starts to become less effective when it is no longer feeling challenged. That means, you have to change it up! Work harder; but also remember to give your body recovery times too!

Another thing to do is to change your diet. Make sure you're getting a variety. Your body can get too used to the same foods too. Be diligent about getting enough protein (like in eggs) and eat foods (like almonds, avocados) that have monounsaturated fats which can help you BURN fat. :) And, of course, don't forget Shakeology! It has protein, antioxidants, and tons of others nutrients to help you lose weight, suppress your appetite, and stay healthy!

Grace and peace to you, my friends! I hope you're all doing well and that these blogs are helping you on your fitness and wellness journey! I'm here for you! Be infused! God bless you!

Never Having to Ask "Does My Butt Look Big?" Again!

When it comes to working out, we all have different motives. Sometimes, it's just to lose weight. Other times, it's to specifically tone and work on certain areas. If that's your aim, there are definitely some Team Beachbody products for that. One in particular is the Brazil Butt Lift program.

I don't particularly want to go on and on about butts, but if we're all honest, who doesn't like a nice butt lol? I doubt there is a single girl in the world that hasn't asked "does my butt look big in these jeans?" We ALL want to look good in our jeans and this program can help make that happen. You'll never have to ask that question again! The exercises in the routines workout your butt from all different angles so that you'll lift, shape, and tone those muscles and get the results you want!

Grace and peace to you, my friends! Watch the video below for more on the program. This program is available as a challenge pack (program + Shakeology) and if you purchase it this month, you'll $20.00 towards a future Team Beachbody purchase PLUS $20.00 will get donated to Feeding America! :) Be infused! God bless you!

How to Prevent and Fight Seasonal Illnesses

I don't know about where you live, but here in my town we've seen our first snow! It didn't stick around much, but it's definitely a sign that colder temperatures and winter weather is coming!

That also means that seasonal illnesses are likely on their way too! That's always a bummer! Who has time to be sick?! Certainly not me! However, I'm afraid I MIGHT be coming down with something. Ugh! I really don't have time for this! It makes me seriously regret that I haven't ordered my Shakeology. I had been so consistent with it (and was feeling WONDERFUL and healthy). Unfortunately, I put it off because I have been focusing on things I needed for my new house. I need my magic flower back!! :(

Until then, I will just have to do what I can to battle what I've got. I've been drinking orange juice, having a Dannon pro-biotic drink shot every day, and just had some chicken soup tonight. Plus, I've been googling for tips on how to fight whatever I've got. Hopefully, it's just a mild cold. I found this article and it has several good tips in there for how to take care of yourself. I'm sure some of it you'll already know, but there might be some things you didn't know. It says to blow your nose "the right way". Meaning, one nostril at a time because you can blow too hard and back up your sinuses and give yourself an earache. Check it out!

Grace and peace to you, my friends! I am hoping to get to bed earlier tonight and get the rest I need. Hopefully, I won't feel awful tomorrow! Here's to hoping all of you stay healthy and well! Drink your Shakeology! Trust me, it's the best preventative medicine there is!

God Bless Our Veterans!

I can think of few songs more fitting, inspirational, and motivating for today than this! Every time I hear it, I am moved beyond words and my eyes well up with tears! I am SO BLESSED to live in America and am eternally thankful for the service and sacrifices of our veterans (including my Dad)!! God bless all of you and your families and God bless America!

Grace and peace to you, my friends! Don't forget to pray daily for our troops! Then need it!! Be infused!! God bless you!

Still Just As Blessed!

Today, we're having a family get together to celebrate my Grandpa's 89th birthday (as well as a ton of other November birthdays in my family). It got me to thinking even more about how much I love November, Thanksgiving, and how I greatly enjoy the opportunity to pause and reflect on my blessings. I LOVE being with my family and I can't wait to see them today! We've always been close and we've bonded all the more in the last couple years due to sadness, illness, and losses in our family.

Just thinking about all that I have to be grateful for made me want to look back through some of my older blog posts and remember what I wrote about in years past. I smile as I re-read the following blog post (shared below) from 2009. In an ever changing world, I hope that things like this don't change much. It's about Casey and his sweet and simple ways; complete with artwork lol. Casey still loves to draw (and in detail) and he still gets excited about the holidays.

Grace and peace to you, my friends! I hope this brings a smile to your face like it did mine and that your lives will be filled with blessings, love, and laughter! Obviously, despite the things that HAVE changed in recent years, I am still just as blessed now as I ever was! I thank God for that! Be infused!! God bless you!!

***

For some reason, Casey is just crazy about holidays! Whenever he knows one is coming up, that's all he talks about! Maybe it's because they learn so much about it at school, and sing the songs, make the crafts, etc. I've heard tons of songs/chants about turkeys, pilgrims, Indians, etc. It's all so cute and it reminds you just how fun, exciting, and simple the whole essence of the holiday is (as well as our heritage). It's all too easy, as an adult, to forget the joy of a holiday (or any day/moment). It's nice to be reminded of the simple joys!

Thanksgiving is probably my favorite holiday because it's nearly untainted by the media and doesn't come with a bunch of hype (well, other than hearing about "after Thanksgiving" sales). It's a time where we are reminded to think and reflect on our blessings and truly be grateful. It's a humble and beautiful thing, and something that should be done every day.

With that being said, I don't have much else to say because there isn't much I can add to something as pure and humble as Thanksgiving. As I said, I was reminded of just how simple and wonderful everything can be when you are looking at it through the eyes of a child. That's why I wanted to share this very cute (and somewhat humorous) picture that Casey brought home from school. I hope it brings a smile to your face and warmth to your heart as it did to mine (the part I thought was most funny is that he didn't forget to include a remote control! That's a boy for you, right? LOL!!). I asked Casey who the people were in the picture. The guy at the door is "Squanto", the one on the chair is a "pilgrim", and the one holding the remote is an "Indian". I think we will be able to make his Thanksgiving wish come true in regards to letting him watch his beloved dinosaurs on TV at Papaw and Mamaw's house, but I don't think that any real pilgrims or Indians will be in attendance around our table (although, I venture to say, I often feel as though my children act like wild Indians - and I don't mean that disrespectfully to any Native Americans who are reading). Although, the kids COULD wear the special hats that Casey made at school - one pilgrim hat and one Indian hat. That would make for a good picture! LOL

All the hand-print turkey projects, coloring pages, and other crafts have all brought a smile to my face. Though, the one thing that most blew me away was the beautiful cornucopia that he drew. At first, I thought it was a coloring page that he simply colored, but no.....HE DREW/COLORED it himself!! Personally, I marvel at his artistic ability and interest in drawing because I don't know that I could top him! Seriously, I don't think I could draw much better than him!! And, the best part is, everything he makes comes from that amazing pure heart of his! He's just so innocent and honest about what he's drawing!! And, once again, his depiction of Thanksgiving includes dinosaurs lol. He made sure to include many of them around the cornucopia. ;) I chuckle to think of a dinosaur sitting around the table at that very first Thanksgiving. Can you imagine trying to share a meal with a T-Rex (without BEING a meal?). Ha ha!

So, here's to hoping that your Thanksgiving is beautiful, bountiful, and humble!! Grace and peace to you as you reflect on all your many simple blessings!! And please know, I am SO GRATEFUL for all of you who are in my life!! God bless you all!!

According to the Shakeology survey that was done, the numbers are pretty good!! See for yourself! I really don't have to say anything because this says it all!! Shakeology is WELL worth it!!

Grace and peace to you, my friends! Hope you're having a great weekend! Be infused! God bless you!

Slow Cooker Broccoli Cheddar Chicken

I have a small slow cooker recipe book that I thought I would start utilizing. I started out with something pretty easy, and it turned out pretty good! Everyone ate it all up! :) You just put six chicken breasts in a slow cooker. Mix together two cans of Campbell's broccoli cheddar soup and two cups of milk (though, I thought it was a little much, so you might want to try 1.5 cups). Add some basil, salt, and pepper, and then pour it over the chicken. The recipe also called for half of cup of minced onion, but I omitted it this time. Cook on high power for an hour and then reduce the heat to low and cook 5-6 hours. Then, boil some egg noodles. Drain them and then mix them in with your crockpot creation. Easy peasy!

Grace and peace to you, my friends!! Have a wonderful weekend! Be infused! God bless you!

"How Can I Look Younger?"

I'm sure the question of "how can I look younger?" has been asked for ages! We're always trying to slow down time, reverse aging, and banish wrinkles. Is there anything out there that works?!

Well, the biggest thing anyone can do to look and feel young is to take care of themselves from the inside out. Exercise will definitely help with that, and so will good nutrition. Personally, I notice much clearer and better looking skin when I'm on Shakeology (due to all the nutrients and antioxidants). It truly is a fountain of youth for me!

The other thing we can do is use skin care products that help our skin look better. Some products I would LOVE to try soon is Team Beachbody's own line of products called Derm Exclusive. Right now (until November 20th) they are running a special on the 90 day supply set. You'll save over sixty dollars if you take advantage of this offer (or, if you would rather buy the smaller kit, click here)! Watch the short video below to find out more!

Grace and peace to you, my friends! This is the first time I've ever promoted Derm Exclusive, so don't think that external beauty is something that I want to emphasize too much. I just wanted to make you aware of the promotion because, face it, we DO like to look good (and to save money doing it). No matter what, TRUE BEAUTY comes from within. Never forget that! There's a fine line between taking care of yourself and extreme vanity. Be infused! God bless you!

Slim Down in Six Weeks!

Sometimes, people shy away from workouts because it's too intense, difficult, or time consuming. Working out can be intimidating and overwhelming, so it's important to find something that's not only simple, but doable.

If you have been thinking about getting a Team Beachbody program, but have been scared off by some of the higher intensity workouts, then you might want to consider something like Slim in 6. This program only lasts six weeks and it's simple, effective, and lower impact. It's a combination of cardio and weight-training and has been a hot seller for years! Check out the video below to view more about this great program!

Grace and peace to you, my friends! Don't forget, this month there is a special challenge pack promotion going on! Pick your workout, and your Shakeology, and get a special price on it! Plus, you get $20.00 off a future purchase AND Beachbody donates $20.00 to Feeding America. Pretty cool, isn't it?! How to Have Fun with Your Treadmill

Today, I thought I would share something fun for media Monday. You might have seen this before, but even if you have, it's worth seeing again! It's a video of a gal having a little fun with her treadmill workout at the gym! I think it's awesome that she's not only working out, but obviously having fun doing it (and she doesn't care who sees her!). Way to go, girl! Workouts SHOULD be fun and your confidence is inspiring!

Grace and peace to you, my friends! I hope you all have just as much fun with whatever workouts you do; whether at home or at the gym! Be infused! God bless you!

Focusing on Good Things

I am having one of those moments where I'm so upset that I have nearly made myself sick. Let's just say it has something to do with the subject matter of this past blog entry

I really shouldn't be this upset. Once you realize how a person is, you should be glad to dismiss them. It's a good thing to let go of the people and things that aren't good for you anyways. That's what I have to keep telling myself and just move forward

God bless my best friend, Sarah, who is always there to remind me that no matter what someone has said or done to me, she still thinks the best of me and she lifts me up again! She always encourages me and gives me renewed hope! It's just like what I heard in church today about remembering to meditate on the truth and not dwell on any negative messages or doubts. If we fuel ourselves with truth instead of worry and lies, we will behave and live in a way that clings to the promises of God!

One promise that comes to my mind is this; that Jesus said we will have trouble in this world but not to worry because he has already overcome it (John 16:33). Because of Him, we are overcomers too! No matter who has hurt us, or what hardships have arisen in our lives, God is greater than all of it! He will infuse us with his strength (Philippians 4:13)!

Yeah, we're totally going to be
 enjoying some Starbucks again lol!!
I may be disappointed in the people that fail me, but I forgive them (just as I fail and seek forgiveness as well). It just reminds me and brings me back to the fact that God is my refuge and is forever loving and unfailing (Psalm 36:7). Maybe He allows me to witness bad behavior in people just so I can depend more on Him and know that He is God. That's about the only thing I can figure lol! But, maybe that's all I need. That and to remember that even though there are a multitude of shady people out there, there ARE a few good ones that God has blessed me with that I am SO GRATEFUL FOR! As I've mentioned earlier (and in blog entries like this one) I have the greatest best friend ever! I am so incredibly thankful that God crossed our paths so we could laugh and cry together; supporting each other through the good and bad times and building each other up in faith. For these reasons, I am all the more looking forward to celebrating her birthday with her on Tuesday. My bestie's main request....Starbucks lol. Yeah, it's the simple things! We're going to have a terrific day celebrating the fact that God created her with a purpose and that the earth is blessed (and so is my life) because she's in it! We will do this with lots of laughs, girl talk, and coffee lol! Cherished memories! :)

Grace and peace to you, my friends! If you're frustrated and hurting due to something or someone in your life, take heart and remember God's good promises and focus on good things! He will provide for you. Even in the tough stuff, He has things to show you so that you can learn and be all the wiser for it! It all works out! Be infused! God bless you!

Giving to Yourself and Others at the Same Time!

It's November, and that means that Thanksgiving is the first on the list of upcoming holidays. These days, however, it often gets lost in the mix. The media and retailers sort of skip it and go straight to Christmas. It's sad because we all really do need the reminder to pause to reflect on our blessings and thank God for them!!

With that being said, I am SO impressed with Team Beachbody and the promotion that they are doing this month! The whole theme of it is "giving" because not only are they giving customers $20.00 off a future purpose when they buy any challenge pack, but they will also DONATE $20.00 to Feeding America. I think that's pretty awesome! If you were never motivated to buy a challenge pack before, perhaps this deal will inspire you to act! How great is it that you can help others as you help yourself get fit?!

Grace and peace to you, my friends!! I hope you will consider buying a challenge pack! It's your choice of a workout program PLUS Shakeology. With all the busyness of the holidays coming up, you'll need that nutritional boost (and all that extra energy it provides) to get you through it all! You'll be giving yourself, and others, a great gift by investing in your health and in the provision of nutrition for others too! Be infused! God bless you!
