How Do You Break a Plateau?

When it comes to losing weight, we all hit that dreaded point where we plateau. We stay stagnant for a while and don't seem to be making any progress. Why is that? How can you break that plateau and start losing again?

In this article, you can read more about breaking plateaus. A few of the tips include taking some periods of rest as well as varying your exercise routine. Our bodies get wise to the patterns we start forming and it adapts accordingly. Therefore, it starts to become less effective when it is no longer feeling challenged. That means, you have to change it up! Work harder; but also remember to give your body recovery times too!

Another thing to do is to change your diet. Make sure you're getting a variety. Your body can get too used to the same foods too. Be diligent about getting enough protein (like in eggs) and eat foods (like almonds, avocados) that have monounsaturated fats which can help you BURN fat. :) And, of course, don't forget Shakeology!
